A planning application's been submitted to turn an office block in Douglas into a private healthcare facility.
Kingsley Land and Property Ltd wants to convert Howard Pearson House on Victoria Road into a medical centre that could employ around 40 staff.
The proposal incldues 13 consultation rooms, 15 day beds and specialist areas such as radiology and surgical theatres.
It says the centre would benefit the Island by easing pressure on Noble's Hospital by taking on some patient care.
