Health Minister Claire Christian says the Island's hospitals have opened up their visiting times.
She faced a question for written response from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson about visiting relatives at Noble's and Ramsey Cottage Hospitals.
In her reply, the minister said standard adult inpatient visiting hours are from 2pm to 8pm daily.
But she added a new policy takes special circumstances into account - including those getting end-of-life care or dementia patients.
