A brand new facility at Noble's Hospital for young adults with long-term health needs opens later this week.
The brainchild of Manx charity Bridge the Gap - the pod is a relaxing retreat for patients aged 16 to 24 with complex, chronic or life-threatening conditions.
Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford will attend the opening on Friday.
The facility is kitted out with the likes of TV, games, activities and a study area.
