Prescription costs on the Isle of Man won't be increased, according to new Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford.
In Tynwald yesterday he confirmed proposals to raise prescription prices from £3.85 to £5 have been rejected.
The department had more than 300 responses to a consultation on the issue, with many suggesting prescription charges should be scrapped altogether.
In response, Mr Ashford confirmed it will be considered in an upcoming review.
