UK Move to Outlaw NRG-1, Island Will Follow Suit
The UK Government were yesterday urged to outlaw the new legal high on the market, known as NRG-1.
NRG-1 is thought of as far more potent than plant food. It's main component is the chemical naphyrone, according to advice from the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs all imports of this chemical should be banned immediately.
It came on the scene roughly at the same time that plant food was made an illegal.
The UK Government will now move to make it a Class-B substance, if this gets the go ahead then it will be upgraded to a Class-B on the Island also.
On the Island Home Affairs member Bill Malarkey says the move must be made fast to avoid it being in circulation throughout the Summer months, when the children are off school
