Updated flood defence proposals for Laxey harbour and promenade are being prepared.
At the local authority's latest meeting, the clerk of Garff Commissioners said he'd met with the Department of Infrastructure to discuss them.
The measures are similar to ones brought forward last year, including new harbour walls and flood gates, but no changes to existing promenade wall.
Revised plans are expected to be presented to the Commissioners by early next year.
