A new commemorative award announced by the UK Government for the next of kin of those killed in the line of duty has been extended to the Isle of Man.
The Elizabeth Emblem, bestowed by His Majesty The King, is a national form of recognition which extends to the Crown Dependencies and Devolved Administrations.
The award is the civilian equivalent of the Elizabeth Cross, to remember those who have lost their lives in their role of public service.
The new award has a rosemary wreath, surrounding the Tudor Crown, inscribed with 'For A Life Given In Service.'
Eligible applicants should apply by emailing Hilary.Leece@gov.im or phone 698389.
