The Island's new Eastern Civic Amenity Site is set to open this week.
It's located at the Middle Park Industrial Estate off Kewaigue Hill, and will open to the public at 8am on Thursday.
The facility includes improved features such as a larger and lighter re-use shed, higher number of recycling and waste skips, and more parking.
Douglas Mayor Natalie Byron-Teare says the new site provides value for money, increased flexibility and convenience for residents.
