The Island's new Chief Constable has officially been sworn into the role at a ceremony in Douglas.
Russ Foster was selected in September last year to succeed Gary Roberts, who has retired after 10 years in the post.
With 30 years policing experience, Chief Constable Foster has led many murder investigations and serious and organised crime enquiries.
He added that he has been familiarising himself with 'the unique context of the Island' and gaining an understanding of the current and future challenges for policing.
