A new bus service to give Island patients convenient transport to and from hospital will come into action next month.
Bus Vannin have been awarded the contract for the Patient Transport Services which will start on Sunday, July 1.
Patients will travel in their new Mercedes Sprinter buses, equipped with wheelchair lifts and comfort seats for those with arthritis.
The drivers have also received specialist training in first aid along with moving and handling procedures.
