From today, a new on-demand minibus service is being trialled to take northern residents to and from the airport.
The scheme by Bus Vannin comes following the pilot patient transfer scheme - transporting people who need to travel off-Island for medical appointments.
Bookings can be made for any journey starting from 5am until 9.30pm on the day.
The fare will be £10 for adults and £5 for children - and trips can be booked up to three weeks in advance, and up until 4pm the day before by calling 697440.
