The development comprises of four full sized sports pitches designed for winter football or rugby use. There is also a synthetic Cricket wicket for the summer months.

The sports pitches will be used by Vagabonds Rugby Club aswell as Corinthians and Douglas Royal Football clubs.
The £2.4 million facility was first proposed as part of the Sports and Recreation Strategy 2002 to 2012.
The Football Foundation in the UK put just over £350,000 forward for the development.
