MT engineers have been working throughout the night to resolve the situation, resulting in some customers being able to re-connect.
However, others remain unable to access broadband services, the company has apologised to all those affected.
They add, engineers are treating the situation with the highest priority and doing their best to resume normal service as quickly as possible.
