The Island's assisted dying laws will take at least five years to be brought in fully, according to a UK MP.
Dame Meg Hillier, Labour MP for Hackney South and Shoreditch, was speaking during a debate into the UK's proposals on Friday.
She said she'd visited the Island to speak to Dr Alex Allinson, who sponsored the Manx bill through Tynwald.
