A mountaineer who is attempting to scale the highest peaks in each of the seven continents will fly the Manx flag at the summit.
Phil Drowley will leave the Island this weekend to tick off the final milestone in his seven summit challenge.
The police officer will climb the Castenz Pyramid in Papua New Guinea - if successful he will become one of just 230 people to complete the full challenge.
Chief Minister Allan Bell presented Phil with a special flag ahead of his journey – describing him as an excellent roving ambassador for the Island.
