The Mountain Road will be shutting for two weeks from today.
From 9.30am this morning, Tuesday, April 7, the Department of Infrastructure says it'll close the route to allow for works to prepare for TT, repair walls and signs, and cut down trees.
This closure will be in place until 3.30pm on Friday, April 17, from the Creg-Ny-Baa to the Bungalow, and the Bungalow to Ramsey.
The DOI adds the road between Bungalow Bridge and the Victory Café will be left open to provide access to the Victory Café and Snaefell via the Tholt Y Will Road.
