The Mountain Road will close tomorrow (Monday) for essential repair works to be carried out.
A wall on the Mountain Mile needs rebuilding, ditches need cleaning out and repairs need to be made to potholes.
It means the road will be closed between 9.30am and 4.30pm for two days – weather permitting.
The Department of Infrastructure has apologised for any inconvenience but says it is safest to close the road completely.
