Never drink and drive.
That’s the simple message being issued by the police and the Department of Infrastructure this festive season.
Although a year round concern, Christmas is typically the time more people take the risk - last year 16 people were charged with drink driving.
Drivers are being reminded they can still be over the limit the morning after a drinking session and that it is a myth that you can sober up more quickly by showering and drinking coffee.
