The Department of Infrastructure says it's spent more than £12,000 maintaining a hangar at the airport used for storage.
A Freedom of Information request asked for details about hangar five at Ronaldsway, previously used by European Aviation Maintenance.
In its response, the department said it had spent £12,388 on maintenance work there since the company left.
And it says it's been using the facility for storage and so hasn't received any rent money from tenants.
