An MHK wants to know if Manx physiotherapy students will be given the same financial support as their UK counterparts.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse asked the Tynwald question for a written reply to Health Minister Claire Christian.
He points out UK physios in training are eligible for bursaries of £5,000 to pay for equipment.
Mr Moorhouse said having similar arrangements could encourage local students to return to the Island after graduation.
