Ramsey could be getting another 17 telegraph poles after Manx Telecom submitted two planning applications.
The company says it wants to provide fibre broadband in Greenlands Avenue and Laurys Avenue.
In its plans, it says it needs the poles to provide the lines to a number of homes in both areas.
Last month it submitted four separate applications for nine poles in Princes Road, Barrule Park and Westbourne Close.
