Manx National Heritage has published rare footage of the first TT meeting to be held after the Second World War.
The organisation took to Facebook to show off the black and white film, which is part of its recently released film archives.
The 35-second clip shows competitors taking on the 1947 TT races, the first meeting since war broke out in 1939.
