Police-led meetings which are designed to tackle anti-social behaviour could be making the problem worse.
That's the claim from MLC Juan Turner who raised concerns in Tynwald this week about whether the Community Partnership Meetings are effective:
The meetings - which are held on a frequent basis - bring together police officers, local authorities, the government and the third sector.
Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey denied the meetings were failing saying they were an important part of neighbourhood policing:
