A meeting is being held in Douglas today for hospitality businesses and traders to voice their concerns to politicians.
From 4.15pm until 5.30pm at the Manx Museum Lecture Theatre, Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson MHK and Minister for Enterprise Tim Johnston MHK will listen to those in the industry about the challenges they are currently facing.
It follows a meeting of the Licensed Victuallers' Association two weeks ago - followed by a press release calling for income tax and VAT changes to support the trade.
A representative from the hospitality sector will give a high level overview of the challenges and concerns that the sector faces, before Ministers provide an update on the wider economic situation and answer questions.
