The Health Minister says she can't discuss individual cases because of patient confidentiality, as hospital safety concerns were raised this week.
Claire Christian was responding in the House of Keys to a question from Onchan MHK Julie Edge about allegations of unexpected deaths at Noble's Hospital on social media.
The minister said she understood such reports can cause concern, but reassured the public Manx Care had extensive procedures in place to keep patients safe.
