Education Minister Daphne Caine says just 22 children who started mainstream education last year weren't toilet trained.
She was asked about the topic in the House of Keys this week by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
He said he'd been worried by recent UK statistics suggesting the problem there is much worse.
Mrs Caine said Island parents can get help for particular problems:
£7.7m cost by Manx Care staff sickness
30.5% hike to rates in Andreas
Only some war pensions discounted from care charges
Single car crash at Ballacraine
Yellow weather warning for hill snow
Reconsider cancer sufferer's tree felling application, says commissioner
