The Island's Education Minister has defended yesterday's decision to close schools in the face of wintry weather.
Graham Cregeen says the call was made based on an assessment of road conditions by Isle of Man Transport.
Now, however, Mr Cregeen says a review of the existing procedure for closures has been held, and any decision made will now be announced by 7.30am.
The Minister says this'll allow parents and school staff enough time to arrange childcare plans.
