30 additional endoscopy procedures can now be carried out each week at Noble's Hospital.
That's the message from the Health and Social Care Minister who says that equates to an extra 21 hours of medical time.
Kate Beecroft gave evidence about the endoscopy service to the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee earlier this week - it comes after the services in Douglas and Ramsey were combined.
She told the committee whilst it was a matter of "profound regret" that the way the news broke caused upset it was clear "urgent action" was required.
