A landmark in the north of the Island has applied for registered building consent permission to make changes to its entrance.
The Milntown Estate on Lezayre Road in Ramsey has asked permission to widen its gates onto the main road.
It also wants to move a Manx stone wall and gate post.
In its application, the estate's trust says the aim would be to improve its driveway and main public entrance.
