A TT rider who suffered serious injuries during a crash on the final day of practicing has thanked well-wishers.
Mike Booth came off at Joey's on June 3, suffering injuries to his legs and spine.
In a statement, he's revealed he's had his right leg amputated below the knee and says the road to recovery will be a long one.
But he says messages from fans lifted his spirits during what he described as some of the most difficult days of his life.
