What's being done to tackle Kirk Michael coastal erosion?

The MHK for Michael wants assurances that government is not overlooking the impact coastal erosion is having on the area.

As it stands a metre a year is eroded away from the Kirk Michael coastline.
In today's House of Keys sitting Alf Cannan will ask the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister what steps are being taken to develop a strategy to tackle the issue.
He says the cost of establishing sea defences could be a deterrent at present:
