The first superbike race of TT 2013 was won in convincing fashion by Michael Dunlop.
The Honda Legends man was in control throughout the duration of the race finishing 40 seconds ahead of Cameron Donald.
It marks his first Superbike win, coming thirty years on since uncle Joey Dunlop won his first TT race.
Legend John Mcguinness had to settle for third place, after incurring a huge 60 second penalty, he did however manage to set a new outright lap record of 131.670mph.
Guy Martin finished in fourth, and Conor Cummins showed good form to secure fifth.
Today’s action will get underway with the Supersport 4 lap race at 10.45, the Mountain Road will close at 9.30 with the rest of the course following at 10.00am
