The Chief Minister says he will keep a watching brief on his political colleagues after assigning them new responsibilities.
From today MHKs and MLCs will take up their new departmental positions – it’s ahead of a restructure of government in April.
MHK Graham Cregeen – who previously headed up Community, Culture and Leisure – now has responsibility for Economic Development along with previous Infrastructure Minister David Cretney.
Ex-Health Minister David Anderson has been assigned to the Department of Education and Children.
