Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper will today look to introduce a Bill that would see the Bishop lose his vote in Tynwald or the Council.
It represents the second such attempt to scale back the Bishop's political duties after Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher tried to remove him altogether before the summer recess, a bid that ultimately failed to receive backing.
The most recent Bishop, the Right Reverend Peter Eagles has recently retired from the position.
