Policy and reform minister Chris Thomas has set 5 objectives for the Isle of Man in 2018.
Amongst those, he wants to produce more positive stories about the Island - in the hopes more people will think it's a good place to live and work, and ultimately attract more visitors.
Mr Thomas also says he wants the health and wellbeing of Island residents to improve - and will measure this through surveys.
He also emphasised there should be more 'to do' on the Island - offering more activities to do locally.
