Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will put two questions on the matter to Education, Sport & Culture Minister Graham Cregeen in the House of Keys next week.
Mr Moorhouse wants to know what key initiatives the Ministers department will pursue in 2019 to achieve this goal for primary and secondary school students.
The next sitting of members will take place in Douglas on Tuesday, January 22, at 10am.
