An MHK says he’s still against the introduction of a Tesco in Castletown because it will be at the expense of local traders.
The retailer is still pursuing plans to open an Express store in the Callow’s Yard complex despite facing a number of obstacles including failing to get an alcohol licence.
Last month market research was conducted to see if the store would be utilised by local people.
