MHK questions cancer drug funding

An MHK is trying to establish whether a campaign is needed to get funding for new cancer drugs on the Island.

Alf Cannan will raise the issue in Tynwald next week in an effort to determine how much access people have to new medication.

He’ll ask the Health Minister why people in the UK can get access to newer drugs which can have better side effects and in some cases extend life.
