Ayre and Michael MHK Tim Baker says he was surprised to discover there'd been problems with vote-counting during September's general election.
He was one of the witnesses who gave evidence to a Tynwald committee on Friday - it's looking into the voting procedure.
A series of errors on election night meant more than two hundred votes went uncounted until they were discovered days later - fortunately it didn't affect the results.
Mr Baker told the committee he hadn't noticed any problems on the night:
