The Manx government will be asked for an update on efforts to overhaul the island's department of infrastructure.
It comes after the chief minister admitted last year that the department was "not fit for purpose".
A subsequent report, published in June last year, found it to be "too big and poorly structured".
Included in the recommendations was "urgent action" on talent management and recruitment.
The question is being asked in the House of Keys this week (25th October).
It comes from Douglas North MHK David Ashford who is calling for a statement from the chief minister.
