When Tynwald sits this month, Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will ask the court to consider introducing social tariffs for internet access.
In his motion, he says there are "indications of affordability concerns" for internet access for some Island users.
He wants the Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority to look into possible measures to make the web more affordable.
