A 136 year old Methodist chapel could be converted into a house under a new planning application.
Eileen Carrington of Castle Drive in Douglas has applied to transform the chapel on Croit-e-Caley Road in Colby.
Under the plans the existing building would be turned into a four-bedroomed house and a flat-roof extension would be demolished.
Mrs Carrington says although work would modernise the building, she hopes to retain its original character.
