A requisition meeting about the changes to the Laxey promenade public shelter is being held today.
It’s at the Laxey Working Men’s Institute on New Road at 7pm but doors will open at 6.30pm.
The meeting has been called by Stephen Carter, Captain of the Parish of Lonan after 12 people requested it.
It follows a dispute between the owners of the Laxey Beach Cafe, situated inside the public shelter, and the commissioners.
