Three Island medics will try to persuade MHKs to send proposed new abortion laws to a committee next week.
Members of the House of Keys have been invited to a briefing at lunchtime on Tuesday as Dr Alex Allinson's Abortion Reform Bill is due to get its first reading.
GP Fiona Baker, midwife Jane Shutt and consultant Graham McAll will address MHKs on why the new legislation shouldn't be debated fully yet.
They say public consultation was inadequate, there are alternatives to abortion and the new laws could discriminate against the disabled.
