MEA prepares to close shop doors for final time

The Manx Electricity Authority is preparing to close its final two stores on the Island with a closing down sale.

It starts today in Ramsey and Douglas.

It was announced in April that the state owned shops would be closed down after a full review of the entire retail operation deemed it was not possible to turn the business around.

The Peel, Castletown and Port Erin showrooms closed earlier this year.
