The team at the Jane Crookall Maternity Unit have this week taken a huge collection of food, toiletries, clothing and items for babies to the Food Bank.
They had been collecting the items throughout the past few months.
Speaking to Ann-Marie from the Unit she said they are seeing more people than ever entering into parenthood, already facing severe financial difficulties.
She said it's been this that has spurred them on with their efforts for the food bank:
