Marathon drumming event to take place next month

The Big Beat has announced it's partnered with PokerStars Helping Hands for its next event.

The group will be putting on its annual 'marathon drumming event' in February at the Villa Marina - a group of percussionists will bang their drums for more than 50 hours straight.

It's all in aid of Craig's Heartstrong Foundation - with PokerStars covering the costs of the event it means all money raised can go straight to the charity.

Martin Rigby is the chairman as well as one of the marathon drummers:
