The Manx Utilities Authority has sent two crews to Ireland to help restore power lines after the destruction caused by Storm Ophelia.
The hurricane hit at around mid-afternoon on Monday and left 175,000 customers without electricity.
Around 130 staff left the Island to assist with the huge operation.
The MUA teams were the first additional support to arrive.
