Manx Telecom's announced it's shedding up to 40 jobs in a voluntary redundancy programme.
In a statement the company says it's undergoing a transformation to make it more agile, creative and effective and will cut the posts as part of the process.
Gary Lamb, Manx Telecom's chief executive, says reshaping the business will take up to two years to complete and will involve a significant investment in new technology.
Mr Lamb says the Transformation Programme is an essential part of the firm's evolution, which will help position it for an exciting future.
