Isle of Man residents are being urged to Think Adoption this month.
There are over 2000 children in the British Isles looking for a permanent home through adoption and Manx residents can learn more about it as the Adoption Service on the Isle of Man are holding an information evening later this month.
Catriona Morris, Agency Manager for the IOM Adoption Service, says since the implementation of the Civil Partnership Act last month it means that gay and unmarried couples can adopt Manx children. So more people than ever before can get involved.

The information evening will be held on Wednesday May 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Centre 21, Greenfield Road, Douglas.
